Police release E-fit image after 19 year old woman sexually assaulted – Miranda

Police investigating the sexual assault of a woman in Miranda last week have released an E-fit image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

About 3am on Sunday 15 March 2015, a 19-year-old woman was on Kiora Road when she was confronted by a man who pushed her to the ground and threatened her with a knife.

Police have been told the man sexually assaulted her before stealing her wallet.

The woman managed to run away and seek help from security staff at a nearby nightclub.

She’s told police the man was last seen walking south along Kiora Road.

Police from Miranda Local Area Command were notified of the incident and commenced an investigation.

Following a number of inquiries, detectives have now released an E-fit image of a man who may be able to assist with inquiries.

 The man has been described as having a dark complexion with a solid build, closely cropped hair, and a neck mole. He was last seen wearing a three-quarter length sleeved black shirt and longer style shorts.
