Teens are known to take more risks as they establish their independence, and this makes them more vulnerable than average to potential harm. They may feel intimidated or threatened, physically or otherwise, by a peer, an older teen, an adult, someone known to them, or a complete stranger.
No parent wants their teen to be a target of bullying, violence, or threats – verbal or physical. The best defence against the teenage years in general is a strong and healthy sense of self-respect, self-esteem, confidence – and a self-defence skill-set that can be used if required.

During our Teen Self-Defence classes, our instructors will focus on drills and fitness exercises that will increase fitness, mental toughness, and develop the ability to persevere despite stress and fatigue. These are lifelong and transferable skills.
The self-defence techniques taught draw from the world’s most effective reality-based self-defence system, tailored to the scenarios most commonly encountered by teenagers in their day to day lives.
Students are taught situational awareness, what to do if they are attacked/ bullied and when and how to avoid a physical confrontation.

TRAINING KRAV MAGA
Different people have different reasons for starting with Krav Maga, and here at KMG we believe that any person should be able to practice successful self-defense according to his or her physical ability, but at the same time each individual should push themselves past their comfort zone.
Therefore, you do not have to be in good shape or fit when you start training Krav Maga.
Even though Krav Maga is a self-defense system, it is also important to have better physical fitness, including strength and stamina to further help your abilities to deal with physical threats and conflicts.
At SGS Krav Maga, our training focuses on improving overall fitness, fighting stamina, and core strength. Regular training enhances mental strength, ability to focus, and decision-making processes under stressful conditions.

There is no need for prior martial arts knowledge.
