Three men have been charged following a fight at a restaurant in the CBD this morning.

About 12.30am (Saturday 28 March 2015), officers attached to Sydney City Local Area Command were called to the licensed premises on George Street after reports of a fight at the location.

Police have been told three men were refused entry to the business and were leaving when they allegedly became involved in a fight with two other men in the foyer.

The three men were arrested nearby and were taken to Day Street Police Station.

A 24-year-old man from Normanhurst, a 25-year-old man from Chatswood, and a 27-year-old man, from Wahroonga, were charged with affray.

They were granted conditional bail to appear in Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday 6 May 2015. The men were also issued with long-term banning notices from attending the Sydney and Kings Cross entertainment precinct.

A 30-year-old man sustained facial injuries in the alleged assault and was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics before being taken to St Vincent’s Hospital, where he was treated and released this morning.

The second man, aged 28, was treated by Paramedics at the scene for minor injuries.
