Following on from the success of our Summer Camp, we’re excited to announce the SGS Krav Maga Winter Self-Defence Camp.
The camp will be held on the first two weekends of July on 2nd and 3rd of July and 9th and 10th of July for 10 hours on the twoSaturdays and Sundays. There is no better way to prepare for the upcoming grading, to be held at the end of July, or simply get better, faster.

Saturday 9th July

Defence against chokes – Defence against regular and headlock standing chokes
10.00am – 1.00pm @ SGS Krav Maga
Dealing with firearm threats – Pistol defence variations
Dealing with Regular and Complex Stick Attacks – Stick defences covering all known stick attacks. Stick attacks include attacks with bats, billiard cues, umbrellas and any other long objects (including gardening implements) than can be used in a similar way.

Releases on the ground Defending chokes and holds while on the ground

Car Jacking – Workshop covering defences within a vehicle from strikes, to knife and pistol threats while seated in a vehicle.

Fighting with Tools / Common Objects – Fighting with sticks, bags, knives and rocks

Fighting Workshop covering fight tactics and tactical body movement to improve your fight IQ.

Elite Close Quarter Combat (CQC) Training with Master level 1 Tommy Blom
This workshop gives students the opportunity to train with Master Level 1 Tommy Blom of KMG. Tommy Blom is one of a few Master ranked instructors in the world.
Whatever your experience with self-defence and Krav Maga has been to date, from beginner to advanced, this is a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to some of the most interesting and often overlooked and under-trained areas of self-defence.

Dealing With Knife Threats – From basic knife threats such as ATM hold-ups or attempted robbery with a knife, to hostage scenarios.

Feedback on Evaluation.
Defence Against Kicks. Regular kick defences aimed at the groin, push kick defences, roundhouse kick defences and side kick defences. We’ll be covering them all.

SAMBO ground workshop. This workshop is designed to push and improve your groundwork and wrestling skills and get you accustomed to various controls you could find yourself in, and learn the best ways to get out of them.

Gun Defences – Class covering variations of pistol threats.
10.00am – 12.00pm @ Auburn Shooting Academy – SOLD OUT
Pistol Competency – firing multiple rounds at targets including 9mm, 22mm, and 35mm rounds.
12.00pm – 1.30pm – Lunch
1.30pm – 4.00pm @ SGS Krav Maga
Hair & Shirt Grabs Workshop covering regular and irregular style hair grabs and shirt grabs including attacks where hoodie may be used to blind the defender.
Defence Against Complex Knife Attacks Workshop covering aggressive and repeated knife attacks from a motivated attacker.
4.00pm – 6.00pm @ SGS Krav Maga
Kick Defences This workshop continues to cover the kick defences taught in the previous kick defence workshop on the 2nd of July. Designed to push your ability to make split second decisions in dealing with a kick attack.
VIP Defences This workshop covers defending a third parties from a violent situations, this may include family members, by-standers, or if your are in a situation of having to protect someone near you.
