SAMBO is a martial art and combat sport developed to improve hand-to-hand combat abilities.
The system is similar in many ways to judo and jujutsu but also incorporates different types of wrestling and is perfectly suited to the Krav Maga style of ground and pound on the ground.
Many of you might have heard of the undefeated UFC fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov. In Sambo, Khabib found the perfect blend of standing and floor-based grappling to take his fight game to the next level. Having trained in wrestling, sambo, and judo from an early age under his late father Abdulmanap, Khabib's exceptional chain wrestling made him all but unbeatable by the time he arrived in the octagon.

Classes aim to improve confidence, fitness, and well-being.
